It Started on the Shop Floor.
For more than 12 years, we have worked in the printing industry producing apparel, running equipment, solving production problems, and using a lot of different heat presses along the way.
We learned the ins, the outs, and the frustrations that never seem to make it onto a specification sheet: uneven pressure, awkward loading, inconsistent heat, slow workflows, and equipment that looks capable until you have to depend on it all day.
After years of fighting the same problems, we started asking one question: why should a heat press be this difficult?

Alien Press is not equipment we simply put on a website and hope performs. We use Alien Press machines every day in our own print shop.
They produce real customer orders in a real production environment. That means we experience the same things our customers do. We have learned that simplicity matters. We notice how quickly a machine can be loaded, whether the controls make sense when the shop is busy, and whether the press helps production move instead of getting in the way.
When something can be better, we do not have to imagine it. We are standing in front of the machine ourselves.
We have also watched some professional heat press brands climb to price points that are increasingly difficult to justify. That became part of the Alien Press mission: build dependable, production-ready equipment with the features printers actually need, without forcing shops to pay an inflated premium for the name on the machine.
